Everyone has a story…

It begins with rumors. Rumors become myths. Myths, into legends. There are stories of a man with blood red eyes living in the caves below even the deepest abandoned subway tunnels, out of reach of tunnel workers and the NYPD. Some say he lives by only eating the flesh of rats. Some say that he has supernatural powers and can see in the dark. Some say he is the leader of a mysterious and dangerous cult—the Chosen. Others say he is just a local drug addict or a figment of the imagination.

Those who claim to have seen Angel speak of him only in whispers with fear in their voices.
